Collins & Blaha, P.C. has extensive experience in labor relation matters representing public employers including negotiations, arbitrations, the grievance process, employee discipline, employee strikes, unfair labor practices, and representation issues. We are also knowledgeable in contract review and contract interpretation and have served as the chief negotiator on behalf of clients in labor negotiations.

Collins & Blaha, P.C. represents clients in all employment related issues including teacher tenure, wrongful discharge, age, race, gender, disability and national origin discrimination claims, unemployment compensation, workers’ compensation, negligent hiring and/or suspension, wage and hour claims, and other related claims. We work closely with clients in conducting investigations into alleged employee misconduct from the initial complaint to the final determination and, if necessary, discipline. The firm also assists clients in devising policies and procedures to address employment related issues and works closely to review and suggest revisions of employee handbooks and District policy.
